Girls soccer: Harvest Christian tops Westminster Christian

Harvest Christian 4, Westminster Christian 2: The Lions led their rival Warriors 2-0 at the half, watched the lead slip only to slide 2 goals by in the final 22 minutes for the Northeastern Athletic win. Rebecca Gafrick, who had the game-winner in the 61st minute, led Harvest (5-1, 3-0) with 2 goals while Ellie Burzlaff and Nicole Ahrens added 1 each. Jessica Olsen and Isamar Garcia notched assists while Garcia made 4 saves in net.

ACC 2, Regina 0: Alex Montalbano registered 2 goals in the Chargers' nonconference win. Megan Crabb and Jamine Mandujano each dished assists for Aurora Central (7-9) while goalkeeper Bry Mandarino had 11 saves for the shutout.

Lakes 1, Elgin 0: Although Hannah Erickson recorded 5 saves in net, the Maroons fell to 3-6 overall in this nonconference loss.

Glenbard South 3, St. Edward 0: The Green Wave (3-8, 1-4) dropped this Metro Suburban West despite Anissa Gomez's 4 saves.
