Dist. 211 buys site for student construction program

Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211's board on Thursday approved the purchase of the property at 502 Oak St. in Palatine for $152,920.

The property is intended to be used for the student building construction program, and is suitable to build a 2,000- to 2,500-square-foot house at a future date.

The property is located within the Fremd High School attendance area.
