Fox Valley police reports

Batavia

• Four bottles of cognac and other liquors were stolen about 1:55 a.m. Sunday from the 100 block of North Batavia Avenue.

• Socorro Dieppa, 59, and Alfonso T. Dieppa, 63, both of the 200 block of North Prairie Street, Batavia, were arrested and charged with retail theft of $96 of grocery items at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 801 N. Randall Road, according to police.

• Yasmine M. Macjklin, 20, of the 1300 block of Ivy Lane, Naperville, and Timothy R. Brownlee, 23, of the 600 block of Raub Street, Joliet, were arrested and charged with felony retail theft of $369 in women's clothing and $342 of men's clothing at 2:38 p.m. Saturday at Kohl's, 251 N. Randall Road, according to police.

• A resident of the 300 block of Elm Street filed report of identity theft at 11:51 a.m. Friday after receiving three letters from Macy's saying orders from Feb. 21 could not be filled; the resident did not have an account with Macy's.

Kane County

• An estimated $8,827 worth of tools, including 10 chain saws, were reported stolen at 3:10 p.m. Friday from a white, tree-trimming hopper truck on the 10N900 block of Hawthorne Street near Elgin.

• A resident of the 1200 block of Mitchell Road near Aurora reported a case of identity theft at 1:18 p.m. Saturday after receiving a $2,675 bill from AT&T for an account the resident didn't open and another $655 bill.

• Someone shot a horse being housed on the 9N100 block of Corron Road near Elgin in its face between noon and 6 p.m. Feb. 21.
