Fun at Deer Park Town Center to honor late Palatine officer

Mark Dahlem, a Palatine police officer who died from brain cancer last year, will be honored at a charitable event Saturday at the Deer Park Town Center. The event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 10.40.10 Fitness in the mall at 21020 N. Rand Road. The fun will include an optional challenging workout, food and prizes. Ticket costs vary. Dahlem, 48, was a veteran Palatine officer who was married with two children when he died Feb. 5, 2019.
