Free College Workshops in February in Mundelein, Algonquin & Grayslake

Parents are invited to attend a free college workshop entitled Paying for College Without Going Broke on Wednesday, February 12th at 6:30 p.m. at the Fremont Library in Mundelein. Grants, Scholarships & Loans: A College Financial Aid Overview will take place on February 18th at 6:30 p.m. at the Algonquin Area Public Library and on February 19th at the Grayslake Area Public Library at 6 p.m.

The workshops will reveal some of the biggest mistakes families are making in the college planning process that can add thousands of dollars to the cost of a student's education. They will reveal unique techniques to reduce the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) while also optimizing admissions and scholarship opportunities. Parents are encouraged to attend one of the complimentary seminars presented by the experts from My College Planning Team (www.mycollegeplanningteam.com).
