Woodland Middle School drama students stage series of plays

Woodland Middle School Drama Club will present "Step Into the Spotlight," a series of four vignettes at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday at the school in Gurnee. The Woodland Middle School Drama Club presents "Step Into the Spotlight," a series of four vignettes, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday at the school, 7000 Washington St., Gurnee.

Each play is directed by a Woodland Middle School Drama club member.

"Piglet" is an adaptation of "Hamlet," set in a barnyard. Other vignettes include "Brace Yourself," "My Little Brother," and "The Support Group."

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and sold at the door.
