It goes on longer than that, but this mathematical value of Pi was the center of a pie celebration today at St. John's Lutheran School, 109 N. Spring St. in Elgin. March 14th at 1:59 and 26 seconds is Pi Time.

Middle school students brought in pies and met in the cafeteria at the appropriate time to celebrate, eat pie, and try to answer middle school math teacher Verne Schultz's math jokes.
