'The Gathering' performed in Libertyville

For the eighth year, the Improv Playhouse, 735 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville will produce "The Gathering," a contemporary adaptation of the last hour of the Last Supper, directed by David Brian Stuart. "The Gathering" takes place during a Seder meal, which biblical scholars agree was the last earthly Passover led by Jesus. Performances are 8 p.m. Saturday, March 19; 2 p.m. Palm Sunday, March 20; 8 p.m. Good Friday, March 25; and 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26. Advance tickets are $22.50 for adults, $17.50 for seniors 65 and over and $10 for students/military. No performance Easter Sunday. Group rates are available.
