Neither party is fiscally responsible

In response to Mr. McCormick's "A more-accurate picture," I have to disagree and agree with his assessment.

I agree that it is not the responsibility of federal government to bail out Democratic and Republican states that have not been fiscally responsible. That being said, I believe it is also not the responsibility of the federal government to bail out the private sector (airlines).

McConnell certainly is no Scrooge when it comes to giving huge tax breaks to corporations and the very wealthy, believing it will trickle down to the rest of us. McConnell was not a fiscal conservative when Trump came calling to continue to run up the deficit for things like a border wall that Mexico was supposed to pay for.

I am sure he will become a true fiscal conservative with President Biden in office and the depiction of a Scrooge will be more accurate. The political reality is neither party is fiscally prudent nor responsible.
