$5K reward offered after Indianapolis-area gun shop break-in
GREENWOOD, Ind. (AP) - A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest following a break-in at a gun shop in suburban Indianapolis.
Authorities say someone broke into Elmore's Firearms in Greenwood through the roof around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, setting off alarms, but he got away with seven handguns and two long guns. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a headlamp.
The reward is from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the National Shooting Sports Foundation.
The ATF is working with Greenwood police on the investigation.
