Campton Hills trustee Andersen resigns

Campton Hills is looking for a new trustee after Laura Andersen resigned Tuesday.
Andersen is moving out of town.
People interested in filling the vacancy should submit a resume and a statement about their vision for Campton Hills to village hall at 40W270 La Fox Road, Suite B, Campton Hills, IL 60175. The deadline is July 13.
Candidates also may apply online through a form on villageofcamptonhills.org.
Applicants must have lived in the village for at least a year, be a registered voter, not have any felony convictions, and not owe any debts to the village.
The person will serve until May 7.
Andersen has served on the board since its inception in May 2008, after the village was incorporated in 2007.
