Fire damages Bartlett home

A fire in Bartlett left a home uninhabitable Saturday morning, and one firefighter was injured while responding, according to a Bartlett Fire District news release.

Firefighters responded to the blaze in the 1100 block of Pinetree Lane at 2:25 a.m. and brought it under control after an hour. No one was home during the fire, which began in the attic.

The injured firefighter was treated and released from Central DuPage Hospital.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimate was available.
