Boys water polo: Wheeling takes third at St. Charles North

Mid-Suburban East boys water polo champion Wheeling earned a third-place finish in the tournament hosted by St. Charles North.

The Wildcats met a familiar foe, Hersey, in the third-place game. Wheeling won 10-6.

Jake Noel (4 goals), Nate Reiff (3), Kyle Noel (2) and Jacob Gorenyuk (1) supplied the scoring for Wheeling.

Hersey, which finished 1-2 in the tournament, got 3 goals for Jack Casey, 2 from Matt Kryzwosz and 1 from Nick Koutris.
