Scattered thunderstorms possible tonight into Thursday

Hot and humid conditions this afternoon could lead to more severe thunderstorms in the suburbs this evening, the National Weather Service is reporting.

Storms could include:

• Damaging hail

• Winds up to 60 miles per hour

Isolated thunderstorms are expected to last through Thursday evening, officials said.

The high temperatures today are expected to reach 90 degrees, with lows tonight around 71 degrees.
