Girls swimming: Warren swims to win against Hersey

Carissa Barker won two individual races and swam on a pair of winning relays, as Warren's girls swimming team opened its season with a 102-83 win over Hersey on Tuesday.

Emily Wong won an individual race and also contributed on two victorious relays for the Blue Devils.

Barker captured the 50-yard freestyle (25.26) and 100 backstroke (1:02.12), while Wong touched first in the 200 individual medley (2:15.14). Warren started the meet by winning the 200 medley relay (1:52.23) with Barker, Jackie Goldman, Wong and Megan Wong. Barker, Megan Wong, Alyssa Church and Danielle Glisovich took the 200 free relay (1:41.62).

The Blue Devils also got wins from Church in the 200 free (2:00.75) and Emily Wong in the 100 butterfly (59.94).
