Lake County jail entrance
Due to ongoing construction renovations, the Lake County jail entrance has been moved, authorities said in a news release Tuesday. The public entrance for the jail is now in the lobby of the Lake County Community Based Corrections Center at 15 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. in Waukegan. The previous address at 20 S. County St. in Waukegan is no longer in service, authorities said. Jail inmates will be released to the new entrance, and all jail visitors coming to the Lake County jail should use the new lobby.
