Jack Benny featured on old-time radio show in Mundelein

Jack Benny stars in an old-time radio show that will be aired at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Heritage Museum, 601 Noel Dr., Mundelein.

The Mundelein Historical Commission hosts an old-time radio show once a month from member Anne Walker's large collection of original programs.

Saturday's 30-minute presentation is a Jack Benny show from Nov. 23, 1947. The sponsor is Lucky Strike, and Dennis Day sings "How Lucky You Are." The story line involves Thanksgiving, with lots of laughs and relatable situations.

A discussion will follow for anyone intereste, and the museum will remain open for tours after the show.
