Why no action on South Dunton Ave.?

In response to my concern about the deteriorating conditions of South Dunton Avenue in Arlington Heights, Mayor Tom Hayes replied on April 22, 2015: "By copy of your email to our Village Manager, we will make sure that south Dunton is both safe and presentable for all to travel."

Well, it's been almost a full year and nothing has been done to repair the deplorable road surface on South Dunton Avenue just south of the downtown business district.

This is a heavily traveled road and is an embarrassment to those of us who have lived here for decades. Where is the pride that used to be shown by our village leadership?
