Go Hardball opens new location in Lake Barrington
Go Hardball is expanding its business and opening a second location in Lake Barrington.
The Lake Zurich-based company is launching at 28156 W. Northpoint Parkway. An opening day celebration is planned for noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 2. Food, fun and sports will be included in the opening event, said Kate Feo, vice president and co-founder of the business.
The company offers evo ultrafit neuro training, performance consulting, Arp wave rehabilitation and injury prevention.
The mission of the business is "to provide a positive and safe environment in which to train, encourage, and advance human beings as designed in the pursuit of mastering a lifelong athletic lifestyle."
The company started as a home-based business in Hoffman Estates and later operated as a traveling on-location service that provided instructional clinics, lessons and personal training to athletes of all ages and skill levels.
Opening in September of 2010, Go Hardball launched its first dedicated facility at 100 Oakwood Road. Just under 3,000 square feet, the Lake Zurich facility houses two retractable batting cages, a training room and an upstairs spectator area.
