Watch Buffalo Grove village trustee candidates debate the issues

Watch the candidates for Buffalo Grove village trustee take part in a joint interview with a representative of the Daily Herald Editorial Board.

The exchange between candidates Joanne Johnson, Gowri Magati, Lester Ottenheimer III, Andrew Stein and Michael Terson was recorded March 3 on Zoom. The candidates discussed issues ranging from the redevelopment of the Town Center, the future of the Buffalo Grove Golf Club and whether the village has done enough to support struggling local businesses during the pandemic.

The election takes place on April 6. Early in-person voting begins in Cook County on March 10 and in Lake County on March 12.
