Future depends on climate restoration

It is very clear to scientists and most people worldwide this year that the accelerated warming of the earth is caused by the burning of fossil fuels. The Paris Accords call for dramatic reductions to reach near zero burning of fossil fuels by 2050. Since solar, nuclear, wind turbines and other government encouraged clean energy have now made the use of oil and natural gas more expensive than clean energy, the trend with government aid should phase out the future use of burning fossil fuels by economics.

The writings of scientist Peter Fiekowsky make it clear that clean energy is only 50% of the world's solution to the problem of excess carbon dioxide and methane in the atmosphere.

Climate restoration is the other key piece to our future living on this planet. The violent weather we are experiencing worldwide will continue to get worse unless we take large steps to take carbon dioxide and methane gas out of our existing levels in the atmosphere which are causing the warming.

The production of synthetic limestone can store carbon permanently in concrete. Seaweed forms can be grown to absorb carbon dioxide and provide food while excess will sink to the deep ocean floor and permanently store carbon dioxide. We can fertilize the oceans with iron powder, the natural missing link to grow massive patches of algae for fish and storage of carbon dioxide on the deep ocean bottom.

I recommend everyone search out the writing of Peter Fiekowsky to find out what you can do to help in climate restoration for the future of our children and grandchildren.
