Letter: Numbers in perspective

Just a brief note about the hiring if 87,000 IRS agents.

These new agents will be hired over the next 10 years, not by January, 2023. During those 10 years, 50,000 plus agents are retiring. These jobs will be filled after the agents retire.

So, no need to worry, folks, there won't be 87,000 new agents all at once.
