Grain mostly lower, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery was 5.40 cents a bale lower $4.0520 a bushel; Sept. corn was 1 cent lower at $3.3140 bushel; Sept. oats was 3 cents higher at $1.99 a bushel; while August soybeans fell 3 cents to $10.12 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle was 1.83 cents lower at $1.1285 a pound; August feeder cattle was off 3.93 cents at $1.3995 pound; August lean hogs was off .93 cent to $.6970 a pound.
