Watch out for one-day street closure in downtown Glen Ellyn
A stretch of Crescent Boulevard in downtown Glen Ellyn will shut down to traffic Monday due to a water service project.
The upgrade is needed near the intersection of Main Street and Crescent, village officials say. As a result, Crescent from Glenwood Avenue to Main will be closed to vehicular traffic. A portion of the north sidewalk on Crescent also will be closed to pedestrians.
The closures are set to start at 6 a.m. to allow the contractor to start working at 7 a.m. The street should be back open before evening.
Businesses will still remain open during project.
