Elgin's St. Edward Central High School celebrates 2016 graduates

Elgin's St. Edward Central Catholic High School celebrated its 105 graduates during a commencement ceremony Tuesday evening at St. Patrick Church's west side campus in St. Charles. Valedictorian Eric Parks and Salutatorian Tess Schuck gave speeches reflecting not only on the student body's past four years (with humorous stories interjected) but also to what lies ahead for them. The Most Reverend David J. Malloy handed out diplomas and addressed the graduates and their families after the class was presented.
