Batavia
• Marvin D. Long, 35, of the 2500 block of Bordeaux Lane, Naperville, was arrested at about 3:40 a.m. Saturday at Route 59 and North Aurora Road in Naperville on a Batavia police warrant for forgery and defrauding a financial institution, according to police.
• A window pane at Full Moon Bar and Grill, 113 S. Batavia Ave., was reported damaged at 1:36 a.m. Dec. 6, according to police.
• Jorge Monjaraz, 26, of the 100 block of Glenbrook Circle, Gilberts, was arrested and charged with speeding, driving with a revoked license, and driving without insurance after a traffic stop at 2:24 a.m. Friday on South Kirk Road. He also was wanted on a failure to appear warrant out of Kane County and a failure to register as a violent offender warrant from Aurora police.
Kane County
• Ryan J. Hergott, 32, of the 36W700 block of Binnie Road, West Dundee, was charged with two counts of felony aggravated battery after a fight during a housewarming party about 10:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at his residence on Binnie Road, according to a sheriff's report. Hergott is accused of choking another man.
• Two saws, two nail guns, a drill and other tools, with a total estimated value of $1,770, were stolen from a locked shed on the 500 block of Sherman Avenue near Aurora between 6:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Sunday.
Cary
An 18-year-old Chicago man, Dimari Terry, has been charged with theft over $10,000 after police said he stole a vehicle in October at the Cary Car Wash, 820 W. Northwest Hwy. Police said the Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen while it was being dried. Cary police said they later learned the stolen vehicle had been used in a crime in Chicago and two suspects had been arrested. They were able to identify Terry as their suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Terry, of the 4900 block of Concord Place, is being held in the Cook County jail on charges related to the Chicago case.
