Free self-defense class Thursday in Hoffman Estates

The Hoffman Estates Department of Health and Human Services, in partnership with Active Life Chiropractic and Wellness Center, is hosting a free self-defense class for adults 18 years and older at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

The class will take place at Hoffman Estates village hall, 1900 Hassell Road.

During the one-hour class, participants will learn basic self-defense strategies. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
