Lilly Singh's talk show will end June 3

"A Little Late With Lilly Singh," one of TV's rare late-night series hosted by a woman, is coming to an end.

The comedian announced Thursday on Instagram that she's "saying goodbye" to her 12:35 a.m. show and moving on to new projects with NBC's parent company and Netflix.

"I have a desire to make longer form content telling underrepresented stories, which is difficult to execute on a nightly show," Singh said.

After less than two years on the air, "A Little Late" will air its final episode June 3.
