Cricket Being Added to Global Arts Festival Activities

Arts in Bartlett announces a new sports feature, cricket, to its Global Arts Festival in Bartlett Park on Saturday & Sunday, June 23-24, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tom Melville, of Hands On Cricket, player, author, and leading cricket interpreter, will lead what is now the world's third most popular team game throughout both days.

Visitors of all ages simply walk up to join a team. They get an opportunity to play short, safe, informal, cricket games pretty much as they're played around the world. This is continuous walkup basis for 4-5 hours with each individual game taking 30-45 minutes.

Arts in Bartlett is seeking a sponsor for these games. More information and an application is on the Festival page of artsinbartlett.org or contact us at art@artsinbartlett.org or (630) 372-4152.
