Learn about photonics, lasers, optics

College of Lake County will host an information session Monday, July 11, on photonics, lasers and optics. CLC will have two information presentations and laser demonstrations from 6 to 7 p.m. The session will be in Room 168 of the Lake County High Schools Technology Campus, 19525 W. Washington St. in Grayslake. CLC is the only community college in the Chicago area to offer an associate in applied science degree in laser, photonics and optics. CLC also offers a 16-credit certificate that can be completed in two semesters, a 13-credit certificate in applied lasers and a 15-credit certificate in biophotonics.
