Knows what parents value
As a longtime resident of Glen Ellyn and graduate of Glenbard West, I am writing to invite you to take a closer look at Judith Weinstock as a candidate for Glenbard Township High School District 87 board and the many reasons she should be re-elected to continue her service.
Judith Weinstock is a 40 year Glen Ellyn resident and former District 41 and Glenbard West parent who taught for many years at West. Judith has served on the District 87 board since 2013 and is the current board president.
During her time on the board, Judith has led or participated in the Finance & Facility Committee, Student Achievement & Performance Committee and the Communication, Legislation & Partnerships Committee. Additionally, she is the district liaison to the Governmental Agencies Partnership in Glendale Heights. Through this work, Judith Weinstock has exemplified good governance that is consensus-oriented, efficient and inclusive.
As a result of her efforts, Judith was honored with the Illinois Association of School Boards Governance Recognition Award.
Judith is committed to preserving and strengthening programs that positively affect students in District 87. Judith understands the unique needs of residents of District 87, having spent her entire professional career living and working in the community.
She knows what parents value and knows how to help guide our families as we move forward in the wake of the pandemic. Judith will always put students' needs first and do so in a manner that is considerate and respectful of the diverse needs of each student and family.
On April 6, I encourage you to cast a vote for Judith Weinstock for Glenbard Township High School District 87 school board.
