St. Francis 3, Timothy Christian 0:
Nick Kosmetatos struck out 12 and walked one in a 2-hit victory for the Spartans (14-3). Ryan and Tom Siurek each had 2 hits.
Neuqua Valley 11, Naperville Central 3:
The Wildcats (16-4, 7-0) broke open the DuPage Valley Conference game by scoring 6 runs in the top of the seventh inning. Casey Pickering was the complete-game winning pitcher. Nolan Clifford went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI. Danny Hughes and Dino Biggers went 3-for-4 for Naperville Central (3-17, 2-7).
Metea Valley 5, Waubonsie Valley 4:
The Mustangs (17-3, 5-3) overcame a seventh-inning rally from Waubonsie Valley (8-12, 6-4) to win in the DuPage Valley. Winning pitcher Jake Kmiecik and Cade Sullivan had 3 hits apiece. Will Jaynes drove in 2 runs for the Warriors.
Hinsdale South 8, Addison Trail 5:
The Hornets (9-9, 4-4) scored 3 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a tie and sweep in the West Suburban Gold. Jake Klepacz, Ryan Kilrea and Tristan Schauer had 2 hits each. Drew Duckhorn pitched into the seventh inning to earn the win. Alex Conrad and Vince Daudelin had 2 hits and combined for 5 RBI.
Downers South 8, Leyden 2:
The Mustangs (10-8, 8-1) swept in the West Suburban Gold as Chris Gory and Joe Cosenza drove in 2 runs. Winning pitcher Kyle Vogt struck out six in 5 innings.
Naperville North 6, Benet 2:
Tim Dalton went 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI for the Huskies (7-9) in the nonconference win. Connor Genovese got the win and Cliff Vickers the save. Connor Hincks went 3-for-3 for Benet (9-12).
Lisle 10, Somonauk 8:
Connor Nigro, winning pitcher Cal Payne and Damian Guerrero combined for 11 hits and 6 RBI for the Lions (14-8) in nonconference play.
IC Catholic Prep 8, Elmwood Park 2:
Winning pitcher Andrew Zwolinski went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI for the Knights (11-13). Ryan Malek had 4 hits and drove in 2 runs.
