NCH hosts Butterfly Release to honor parents who have lost babies

The pain and grief of losing a baby to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy or stillbirth can seem unbearable for the parents suffering such a loss. Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) is helping families cope with their pain.

NCH in Arlington Heights is honoring the mothers and fathers whose babies are still remembered in their hearts during the annual Renew Through Sharing Butterfly Release, scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, June 11. The program begins in Jazzman's Café in the hospital, followed by the release of butterflies in the RTS Garden.

Each person in attendance will receive a butterfly to release in memory of their baby. Renew Through Sharing is an NCH support program that provides assistance for those who are grieving the loss of their baby.
