How to get walkers past the S-curve

About the feasibility study of a pedestrian walkway through the S-curve on Northwest Highway: as an avid bicyclist I avoid this section at all cost.

I think a simpler, less costly, less intrusive and quicker solution would be to extend the sidewalks further east past Fourth Street on Seegers Road to Rand Road, and then sidewalks on Rand Road to Graceland.

Another alternative taking into consideration the new townhouses on the Littelfuse site would be a pathway along Weller Creek to Rand Road and again a sidewalk to Graceland.
