1963 Bears focus of Arlington Heights Senior Center program Wednesday

Sports historian Charles Billington will visit the Arlington Heights Senior Center from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to present a program entitled "The 1963 Bears and the Fall of the House of Halas."

The champion 1963 Bears featured one of the most dominant defenses of the pre-Super Bowl era. This storied group of gridiron greats were led by George Halas, in his "last hurrah," and a young genius named George Allen.

Billington will analyze the team, the NFL during the era and break down film from the season.
