Letter: What is important in education today?

Your best reporter Eric Peterson reported on District 211 with an article titled "Dist. 211 adds sexual orientation, gender identity to sex ed."

Well, call me old fashioned, or just old, but I clearly remember going all the way through grade school and high school with no sex education at all. Yep, zero classes on sex. Magically, we all figured it out without any class time in school.

But I did have time to get all A's in math.

What do you think is important for your kids?
