Mundelein fishing derby set for July 22

The Mundelein Police Department will hold its annual Cops N Bobbers fishing derby on July 22.

It'll run from 8 a.m. to noon at the Mundelein Seminary, 1000 E. Maple Ave.

Participation is free, and registration isn't required, but anyone 16 or older needs a state fishing license.

A limited number of fishing poles will be available for those who don't own their own.

The first 100 kids who sign up get free T-shirts.
