This is what gets Chicago's attention?

Just about every day, we hear about more murders in Chicago. The justice system in Chicago is a disaster - criminals get a mere slap on the wrist and are released back onto the streets.

The city is a financial disaster, yet all we hear from Chicago politicians is that the state isn't giving them enough money. Plus they want the taxpayers living outside of Chicago to clean up their pension mess. Then we have the mayor declaring Chicago a sanctuary city, thereby putting it in danger of losing substantial federal grants and additional federal money.

But yet what does the most powerful alderman in Chicago worry about? In the March 30 edition of the Daily Herald, an article describes Alderman Edward Burke introducing a resolution to the city council aimed at preventing the Cubs from creating their own TV network because he thinks it would be too expensive for many Cub fans.

This is what the most powerful alderman in Chicago worries about? Parts of his own South Side are war zones, and he's wasting time worried that the Cubs ownership might want to have their own television network. Just another justification for term limits.
