Reward offered for info about cat killing

Rewards totaling $6,000 are being offered for information involving a cat killing last month in Waukegan. Police are investigating the hanging of a cat by a rope around the animal's neck from a tree, but no arrests have been made. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the crime in addition to an offer of a $1,000 reward from Fat Cat Rescue in North Chicago.
