Agency seeks comments on Elk Grove Police Department

Assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies will examine the Elk Grove Village Police Department's policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services as part of the department's reaccreditation.

As part of an on-site assessment next month, agency employees and the public are invited to offer comments at a public information session, 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15 in village hall, 901 Wellington Ave. People also can call (847) 357-4109 between 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16. Written comments can be sent to the commission at 13575 Heathcote Boulevard, Suite 320, Gainesville, Virginia, 20155.

Accreditation status is for a three-year period.
