This undated photo rendering provided by Modsy shows a room decorated like an island getaway. Alessandra Wood, founder of online interior design platform Modsy, says you can invoke the vibe of your favorite island getaway through some well-chosen prints and materials. "Look for pieces that have a subtle tropical vibe via foliage, like palms, as well as natural raw wood or rattan textures, and fun global prints." To achieve a coastal getaway look, Wood suggests opting for layers of serene blues and seafoam greens paired with neutral hues. "This will evoke the sea and the sand and create a calming backdrop. To really feel like you're on a beach getaway incorporate sea themed items such as prints, sculptures, and objects that depict shells and sea life." (Modsy via AP) The Associated Press
