Omitting full title an insult to King

All three candidates defrocked The Rev. Martin Luther King by using "Dr." and not "the Rev."

They all refer to the Rev. Jackson and the Rev. Sharpton. Why not the Rev. King?

They have an agenda to remove a religious icon; why? Even the pope used King's true title.

As a teacher, only 20 percent of my students know what King was. It was he and his church that walked across the bridge.

Some of the media is just as bad: "MLK" day?
