Back-to-back homers

On Sept. 6, the Knights of Columbus of St. Emily's Church, had their food drive and the total pounds donated by our dynamite parishioners was 2,313 of groceries. Would you believe back-to-back home runs? Yes, Sunday, Nov. 8, the Knights of Columbus Council #6481 sponsored another food drive at St. Emily's with a goal again to help the poor, homeless, hungry and the immigrants, and the donations were almost 2,000 pounds (1,972). We are so grateful to the best supportive parishioners in Mount Prospect. God bless them all, and thank you.
