Benoit, Hampshire outscore Grayslake North

Senior forward Emma Benoit scored a game-high 26 points to help host Hampshire past Grayslake North 61-49 on Monday in Fox Valley Fox Division girls basketball.

Sidney Lovitsch (15 points) and Savannah Guenther (14) led the scoring effort for the Knights. Grayslake North (15-13) struggled at the foul line, making 7 of 18 shots.

Junior Rachel Dumoulin had 19 points for the Whip-Purs, and Kelley O'Brien contributed 9 for the Knights.
