Best pol for people, best for animals, too

Fighting animal cruelty is a big issue for me, which is why I'm glad Congressman Peter Roskam has demonstrated a pro-animal voting record throughout his time in Congress.

Most recently, he cosponsored five bills aimed at protecting animals. These bills work to prevent animal cruelty and torture like horse soring, which is when trainers deliberately inflict pain on the hooves and legs of walking horses through the use of harsh chemicals to give them the type of high gait prized in competition. I'm immensely grateful for Congressman Roskam's pro-animal record.

It just so happens that the best Congressman for the people is the best Congressman for animals, too.
