Arrogant disrespect for tragedy of 9/11

I was moved by the 20th anniversary observances of 9/11.

And the participation and support of former presidents was obvious - with one notable exception, Donald Trump. He chose not to participate in any of the public observances nor even issue a statement of sorrow or support.

Instead, he used the occasion to publicly criticize the current president and to continue his false narrative of a rigged election.

It was a shameless display of arrogance and self-interest and an affront to the hundreds of families who lost loved ones on that day - and to all Americans who love and revere this country.
