Palatine's Christ Lutheran Church staying connected

Christ Lutheran Church, 41 S. Rohlwing Road in Palatine, has a new tradition of creating a cross covered in carnations. This year, they are inviting everyone to participate by adding a carnation to the cross.

A basket of carnations is provided.

The church will continue this "Perpetual Carnation Cross" until the congregation is worshiping together again. This is a particularly stressful time in our lives. We miss worshiping together and need to remember to trust in God's love and mercy. Worship with Christ Lutheran at 10:30 a.m. Sundays on Facebook (www.facebook.com/clcpalatine/) and 7 p.m. Wednesdays for Bible study.
