Free Mommy & Me Yoga at Geneva Commons for Mother's Day

This Mother's Day, Sunday, May 14, Geneva Commons shopping center invites families to relax and unwind with complimentary, outdoor Mommy & Me Yoga on the Geneva Commons Center Green from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Presented in partnership with Yoga 6 and Athleta, this Mother's Day event is free to the public. Those interested in attending are asked to register with Yoga 6 by calling (630) 412-0229. Moms and kids are also asked to bring their own yoga mats and water bottles.

"We wanted to do something special for Moms this year," said Yahayra Argueta, marketing manager for Geneva Commons, "so we partnered with Yoga 6 to start their Mother's Day with a breath of fresh air, some sunshine, and a complimentary, refreshing yoga workout that the kids can have fun with, too."

After the morning yoga session, Athleta associates will be on hand with shop cards especially for participants. There will also be a hair braiding activity in-store. Athleta is located at 218 Commons Drive, next to Gap & Gap Kids at Geneva Commons.

Following Mommy & Me Yoga, families can shop and dine at any of the mall's 65+ stores and restaurants, finding and wrapping up the perfect Mother's Day gift or treating Mom to lunch. Event information and a shopping and dining directory can be found at shopgenevacommons.com.
