Tollway website experiencing technical difficulties

The Illinois tollway's website hit a bump in the road Monday, posting an advisory of a temporary customer service center outage.

"We are experiencing intermittent customer service outages as we continue to implement new technology this week," spokesman Dan Rozek said, apologizing on behalf of the tollway for the glitch at www.illinoistollway.com.

"We have a team working to resolve as quickly as possible any issues that our customers are experiencing."

The tollway's customer service phone center is open at (800) 824-7277, although test calls resulted in a busy signal.
