Characters on Water Street returning to downtown Naperville

Characters on Water Street is returning next month to downtown Naperville.

Presented by the Downtown Naperville Alliance, the free, family friendly meet-and-greet event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 4 and feature characters from the "Star Wars" universe.

This is the second year the Downtown Naperville Alliance has partnered with the 501st Midwest Garrison, a chapter of the 501st Legion organization that's dedicated to giving back to the community through the characters the group's members portray.
